Beautiful vintage Orthodox Christian icon depicting The Virgin Mary holding the Child Jesus, presented under glass and set in an impressive multi-layer hand-carved wooden frame.

This piece was made in Ukraine in the 1960s and reflects traditional Eastern European religious craftsmanship. The frame is richly decorated with deep floral and ornamental carvings, carved entirely by hand from solid wood. Its warm natural tone and layered relief give the icon a strong visual presence and spiritual depth.

The icon is protected by glass and ready for wall display, with a metal hook mounted on the back. It is suitable both for a home altar and as a meaningful collectible of Orthodox religious art.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. One small natural wood knot is visible at the bottom of the frame. No structural damage. All details are clearly visible (see photos).
