Royal Delft Cloisonné tiles, depicting a man and woman wearing wooden shoes in a special dress, from Marken, near Amsterdam. A beautiful pair, made in the Netherlands around 1940 by the Delft Porcelain Factory. These tiles are always hand-painted, in unique colors, and are marked on the reverse. A very rare and beautiful tile, with a ceramic border around/including the tile, and two hanging holes.
